Oh, hi you guys! i just saw this. I'm sorry I haven't been updating. You are so sweet to think of us!
Tomorrow is the big day. I'm getting really nervous. I hope all goes well.
Simon is going to represent for their feet. His surgery is scheduled for 12:30.
I hope I am taking the right one in. Vet said it was six and one-half dozen the other...he said to choose whichever would have the largest area from which to take samples. That's Simon...he now has very little hair on all four feet. BUT, it looks like it's changed a little over the past few days. It's no longer red and angry, and has moved to the crusty and looking like it's healing stage. If you recall last time, Simon healed much more quickly than Angus. So I hope his is not already healing so much that it won't yield a fruitful biopsy with some answers.
Angus' feet are doing the same as last time too...patchy hair loss all over, red angry sores. But he is not an option for tomorrow, as one of them had to be off all meds and anything topical for two weeks. We have continued to give Angus Benadryl and treat him with ACV periodically.
I sure hope this does it. Please think of us tomorrow! Thanks you guys.
