DefaultOMG - I *WISH* had grabbed the camera for this!!!

    Parker LOVES Tim, our mailman.

Which is great, because Tim has a Lab, Zoe. And Tim loved Wesley as well.

But Parker.... Really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really loves Tim.

Tim came to the door about 2 minutes ago. The screen was closed but the front door was open, and Parker was laying right there. Tim opened the screen and was about to call in because he had a large package. But Parker greeted him first, waggling and licking on the porch. So I came to see what the ruckus was, and there's Tim getting kisses and wags.

So we visit for a little, and then it's time for Tim to go. And I direct Parker back in the house. But Parker has other ideas. He RUNS to the mail truck and HOPS IN!!!!

I told Tim that he could stay and watch SportsCenter all day while Parker continued delivering the route.

    How I wish I had a camera!

    So cute!!

Bauer is in love with our UPS man. Yesterday he went out and followed him down the driveway (heeling very nicely with his tail going 100 miles a minute). He was looking up at him adoringly as if to ask, "Where are we goin' now? Huh? Where?" He's such a traitor.

I can absolutely picture this in my head, because, well Lexi behaves very similarly with our mail carrier.

She made friends with our first carrier, Hugh. Lexi loved Hugh, Hugh loved Lexi. He would give her cookies & get out of the truck to pet her. When he'd get out, she'd get in & sit on the seat. I am sure if she could have figured it out, he'd have had company. (In fact, I helped Hugh & his family adopt their L4R lab MacLean aka Mac).

Hugh got moved to another route & we had Rich. Rich was nice, but not as nice as Hugh.

Now we have Jeff. Jeff is very nice, carries a huge tub of dog treats in his truck. Lexi gets two or three from him almost daily.

What is funnier, is she will on the front lawn in the afternoons waiting for him to arrive. I know before he even gets to the house, that mail is here. She will watch & when he is about 3 houses away, she starts happy barks.

She's also made friends with UPS & FedEx. They both give her treat & if she is not outside, I've found the packages with a dog treat on top.

My dog is NOT at all spoiled... nope not a single iota!!!

    My pretty girl, Lexi!
