Jack is doing great. He is settling in well. He went with us to watch our sons friends play baseball last night. He wanted to love on everyone there. He likes attention from people. I also took him to the beach for the first time yesterday. He enjoyed being down there, but didn't try to go into the ocean. It was really windy and the water was rough, so we weren't there long. A seagull flew by and got his full attention, but luckily he didn't take off after it. He did greet anyone that walked past us.
I brushed him for about 30 minutes yesterday afternoon and got about 10 brush fulls of loose fur out.
He goes for his first heartworm injection on Monday at 11:15. They will keep him until late that afternoon for observation. I hate that he is having to go thru treatment, but can't wait for it to be behind him so he can be healthy. The x-rays show that he has a low "load" of worms, so we are grateful for that.

I instantly liked this dog of yours the minute I saw the photo of him, something in his eyes says he is a happy gentle soul.
Sending good thoughts to Jack for his HW treatment!
