    DefaultOur first bed (pics)

Today I have ordered the Orvis Microfiber Crate Pad - Xlarge - for Cassie and I have even personalised it with her name on it. She doesn't have a bed in her crate.. only a small thin blanket from the pet shop. Total cost €80

I'm sure she will love it and have a good night sleep on it.

We have an Orvis bed. It is the tough chew. Not a week in the house & it had a hole chewed in it. I am pleased to tell you Orvis replaced it and even personalized the new one also. They did not even want the original bed back. Although the customer service rep asked me if I had a lab. I can't remember if he said they only had to ever replace two or three & all the "chewers" were labs. Now why I am not surprised.

Definately post pictures of the new bed. Cassie will love it.

I had an Orvis bed for Princess. She did manage to rip the outer cover and Orvis replaced it no questions asked. When I give Gus the whole crate and take out the divider piece I think I might order one for him but I did see the Kong bed and it looked really nice.

I also have a devider for Cassie but it's a custom one which I made so I can adjust the height and I can put the bed in with the devider.

The boys have never chewed their beds, thank goodness! Give them any kid of toy, though, and it's only a matter of time before all appendages have been removed and it's de-stuffed.

We do need to see pics of Cassie on her new bed!

The bed is on its way to Cyprus.

Is there a way to introduce her the bed so she won't chew it? Lately she chews the blanket and the towel I put in the crate. I don't want her to chew her new bed.
In the crate she has her toys to chew but for some reason he also chews the blanket and the towel.

I thought to put the new bed on the couch so she can sit or lay on it and then put it in the crate.. is that a good thing to do?

No way of stopping it unless you sit with her and say leave every time she does.

The only bedding Erns hasn't chewed is the bed in his crate. I have no idea why. Hope Cassie leaves her new bed alone.
I would just put it in the crate. If you put it on the couch she will think that is where she is to sleep...unless you like her on the couch.

FedEx just called me... they said they have a package for me I wasn't expecting anything from FedEx ...so I guess it might be the bed from the UK.
..If it is I will post some photos later on.
