We picked Jack up Sunday morning and brought him to his forever home. He is just awesome. I don't know who loves him more: me, my boys - or my dh (who was glad to get a lab, but wasn't sure about him living inside the house). Everyone of us is smitten. He has so beautiful, loving and calm. He wants to be wherever someone is, and follows my boys around - especially the oldest. He doesn't pay attention to the cats at all. Other than checking everything out, he acts as though he has always lived here. We are totally in love with him.
He is on medicine for 10 days before his heartworm injections begin. I put them in his dog bowl at feeding time and he eats them along with his food. He has a lot of white on his face, so he appears older, but the Vet thinks he's @ 3.

Awwww...he's just adorable!!! Congrats!!!
And thank you for giving such a lovely boy a forever home.
Well done for helping Jack ! Let us know if you have problems - that's what we are here for as transitions are hardly ever 100% smooth !
Having said that, some are little angels and i hope that Jack proves to be one of those !
Jack is adorable
What a nice addition to the family.
Congrats on the new addition!
He is absolutely adorable. He looks very happy & he is loving his new family.
Just remember, there are bound to be a few bumps with him settling in. There are a lot of us who've been through it, so don't be afraid to ask questions.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
