Is there a way to judge a labs temp, without actually taking the temperature? The inside of Harvey's ears have been cold for the last 24 hrs or so, he seems happy in every other way but the 'chill' in his ears seems a little extreme.
I have a (human) electronic thermometer that you insert inside the ear (like you see in the hospitals). Can i use that on him?
Harvey has a thermochip, when i take him to the vets they can scan for his chip and get a reading of his temp at the same time (however, the vet likes to do the temp the 'normal' way, much to harveys disgust).

I don't think the ear temp is any real indicator, unless you are way inside the canal.
Sharon, Blaise and Diesel.
You need a rectal thermometer
