He must live around here somewhere but I have no idea where. I've advertised him on the local radio station's site & FB. Now I'm off to the pound to see if he's micro chipped. If he's not, I can only look after him until Monday because I have to go back to work. If I can't find his owner by then, I'll have to take him to the pound. My pound is run by the Animal Welfare League which has a no kill policy so he'll be in safe hands. Hopefully, he'll be back home by then.

Tell me about it! It's a PITA!

If I was still in the market for a Lab, I'd keep him but I can't.

I just got back from the pound. NO he's not micro chipped. Good thing is he's not neglected. He's been well looked after by someone. He's also pretty good on the leash. In the meantime, I've named him Blackie.

Yeah & I once had a female black Pug that I called Mrs Black. SO THERE!

And now for the good news - He's back home. His owner saw the posting on FB. Which means I FINALLY found a constructive use for FB! Today in history ............

It turned out he lived less than 50m down the road from me. I caught his house in this pic. It's the one in the back right corner with the white fence. He was THAT close! They only just moved in which would explain why I hadn't seen him before.
