    DefaultBack from OBED for 4-H

Bentley did very well!! I can remember only a few breeds there :GSD(who was dog aggressive...eekkk), Boxer(was a puppy and ADORABLE),shelties, Merle Australian Shepherd,Basset Hound,labs,Maltese,chi-chi, BC(or pit bull mix it was hard to tell since I didnt get close), and mutts. It was fun. Bentley was distracted half of the time and wanted to sit in front of me and not on my left side so i have to work on that. He got so bored he actually fell asleep, haha. We did a sit for 3 minutes and of course he lays down but I would to. I have to work on that. he does all of this at home but I think he was distracted with all of the new smells, dogs, people ect... We have another class next Tuesday(and all of the others for the next 8 weeks). Also we start Agility after the Obed. classes. The the fair when we compete! There is 5 days worth so Bentley will get lots of attention and socialization. The only thing bentley did was when we got there and I signed up I took him to the grass to smell and last potty break he growled at the Maltese. It was barking at him and he did NOT like that. I did correct him though and he stopped.

some not so good pics. There will be more next week. It was to dark(storm coming in) to take pics today since the flash would blind everyone.

    failed attempt one

failed attempt two(my friend has one of both looking so i will up-load it later)

On the way home(30 minutes of training made him tired and gassy!!)

That sounds like a blast! I can't believe that Bently went to sleep in tbe middle of a "stay". He must have been very relaxed.

Took our Ellie to training in January, when it was getting dark very early (usually by around 6:15PM it was dark and class started at 7:00 PM). Ellie did well the first two nights, then started acting up and misbehaving! It fianally dawned on me that she was usually laying on the floor or the couch by that time of the evening. She was just like a little kid who was up too late!!! The first couple of nights it was new and exciting, then it became more routine. She did very well during our practice sessions in the afternoon, but when she is done, she is done and you are not going to get much out of her!
