    DefaultWholly Barking Dogs Batman!!!!

I started working at a kennel about one month ago. This is Spring Break here in SW Michigan. Today there were 71 dogs at the kennel. This morning, three employees, this afternoon, two of us ( one the kennel owner, the other me). I was responsible for about 35 of the larger and mid sized dogs. Cleaning runs, supervising playgroups, feeding, and assorted other managing aspects.

    I think may be deaf.......

I have not stopped moving since 7:30 this morning.....

BUT!!!! I have only 7 dogs in my house! Four are my own. Kodi is being a MAJOR BITCH to a boarding dog (11 month puppy with no manners) and another boarder is Clover, who Kodi hates and has gotten into a major fight with several years ago (where Kodi needed 13 stitches).

I love them all very much, but sure wish they would get along without detailed supervision with ecollars!

Hope the week gets easier. No matter how much you love dogs, sometimes it can be a bit much.

I feel so sorry for you... I can´t stand crazy barking

I´m so happy Misha doesn´t even know what a bark is, Homer know its forbiden... and Vermont is learning that I don´t like nonesense barking...

My neighbor has two scnhanuzers that bark like there´s no tomorrow... I hate them. Little yappy pieces of #%$

I would last about 4 minutes . . . and then I would start drinking.

My dogs know that needless barking is forbidden. Any boarding soon learns not to needlessly bark.

Quite sadly, the worst offenders at the kennel are Labs. I just don't understand. (Well I do, but....) How in the world can people put up with that. (One dog has very obviously learned at home that smaking a door three times gets him let inside...well not here.... Another, absolutely dragged his owner from the car to the kennel, and the dog went through the screen door on the way home (fighting with the owner).

And the pissing and pooping where they sleep...or outside playing for 4 hours and come in and pee....sigh, these are adult dogs. I understand that a kennel environment is not a home environment. I do wonder though, what my dogs would do if I ever had to board them. No couches to sleep on....no fields to frolic in...no rub downs.....and EGADS, sleep on cement? No pillow or multiple blankets or ortho bed?

O.K., I have vented and am ready for another day!!!!!!!!
