    DefaultGood "find" at the park!

I took Abbey swimming and for a walk in the woods yesterday at one of the parks near me. We're not supposed to let them off leash, but once you get far enough in, it's not really a problem.

We found a lady and her two gorgeous very dark colored Goldens who swam and played well with Abbey. Yet another good 2 dog scenario for Abbey - she only got a little freaked out when they approached, but they played nice!

One of them found something dead and gray and was playing keep-away with the other two dogs. At first I thought it was a bird.. nope! It was a dead mole! Ick - then the dog stole Abbey's bumper and was trying to grab both of them - succeeded, then continued to prance around going "na-na-na-naa-naaaah." Another dog and owner came by, the dog dropped both and ran to greet the other dog. In that short time we had scooped up the nasty dead mole in a poop bag and gotten rid of it.

Icky!! Then Abbey ran around while we were walking in the woods and it was a good time! She was pooped when we got home.

Holy Moley, what a great time! More importantly, did she work up an appetite?

It is not every day that you get to play with a dead mole! I am sure Abby had a grand time!
