I can't believe we are picking ticks off the dogs in November. It has been so unseasonably warm...I guess the ticks are still around. I can't wait for the first heay frost. I usually don't use Frontline in the winter....I just might this year.
I had thought about not using Frontline this year (have been every year before now) but after this I think I will keep it up. Ouch! I hate ticks. Thankfully, when we go out, I seem to get them instead of the boys...
I usually stop using it in November because it is cold here but after today....I will keep using it till the snow falls. Ticks really gross me out.
Here we suggest it from April-November, probably something similar in PA. Well we're supposed to get snow for Thanksgiving, so hopefully that will solve that problem!
We haven't had a freeze yet either in TN. I haven't seen any ticks on the boys since the spring, though. I did see a tick the other day after a walk through the botanical gardens. We had lunch afterwards in their tea room. The tick was on my fork.
Ticks now!! Haven't seen any for months around here.

I just bought something called a Tick Key. It looks like a church key (think beer can opener). It is great and you do not need to touch the tick.
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. -- Gandhi
I feel your pain! I have been battling these little bugs for months. I just reapplied thier frontline too.
I think I will probly use it all winter, just to be safe.
