today me and my lady went to the market to pic up dinner. we were in line with a number at the meat market and some dumb b***h cut us off. i was going to start trippin but i would have blew my muffin top. i was waiting for my lady to tell her something but never did. in my younger days i would have told her off and made her look stupid in front of everyone there. i guess im just getting soft as i get older.
You should have just high fived her face
I've come across people who make me feel that way anyway.
What do you mean, the person didn't have a number?
the number on the wall said 40 i had 47 some other guy got helped he was 46. i asked the butcher if he still had chicken fajitas cause i didnt want to stand in line if he didnt. then the lady yelled out over here its my turn very rudely. so at first i thought maybe she got missed but she kept looking at us funny so i put it all together. and i was right. i was supposed to be next. i should have hi fived her face. lol
If I've been waiting a long time and someone cuts in line I have absolutely no problem speaking up. I just say "Excuse me, my number is next" and start ordering. Not a big deal at all.
I've found that in general when a person does something designed to make the other person look stupid the second person is rarely the one that looks stupid so that's not an option for me. But speaking up for yourself isn't a bad thing.
And then I found $20.
