Tonight we went next door to our neighbors' house for some drinks and hors d'eouvres. When we walked back home, there he was, in the trap. Wow! Surprised!
Kevin had set it up outside his exit hole, a small plank in the fence right by the house. This is the hole we always saw him run out when being chased, but there were no dogs chasing him tonight, so this must just be his path that he does every night.
He looked pretty young, and seemed to be in pretty good shape. Kevin took him to the agricultural center where we walk the dogs and released him. There are plenty of woods there, and a nice stream. It should be a very nice place for him to live.
Did I tell you our neighbors found a rabbit leg in their yard yesterday? :( Foxes, they think. They saw one two days ago.

Oh I'm glad you got him relased. I think he will be happier out there too :).

Well hopefully he will be able to evade the foxes in his new home.. but I'm glad that he got away before Angus or Simon got him!

That didn't take long, glad you caught him before he became a dog snack.

I hope he stays out where you released him and doesn't come back to his 'home' in your yard!

I am glad you got him out of your yard safe. Hope he doesn't return!

Perfect ending! I'm so glad you were able to release him in such a perfect environment. All foxes stay OUT!
