Hi! My yellow lab on both of his front legs looks like he had a razor taken to his fur. I can't see his skin, but the hair looks like it was cut unevenly. Any ideas???

Are you asking how your dogs hair got shaved? I don't think Kreskin posts here much anymore.

    LOL @ Sharon!

I asked if you have kids because when I was 5 years old I took the kitchen scissors because I felt our Lab needed a haircut. You see, when she sat down & then lowered her head a bit, I felt it wasn't attractive that this tuft of fur popped up on the back of her neck (aka collarbone area)... cut it right down to the skin I did. Labs are so patient with kids! My mom was freaking out wondering how the dog suddenly lost a hunk of fur until I proudly exclaimed I gave her a haircut.

    If not your kids...

So funny. It's on both legs in the same area near his joints. So off to the vet I go.

Seems a little odd. Report back what the vet says!

Could he be licking the fur out? Caleb gets areas like that from licking his legs.

I'm sure its nothing. It might be something he's rubbing on, or chewing it off.
