    I like Timber well! His coat reminded me off Boxer so when I googled Boxer/Australian shepherd mix I found a pic of this puppy

    I've never seen nor heard of a brindle Pointer, even "mis-marks". A couple of things to keep in mind- color genetics are really weird and complicated. And, don't forget, brindle is a mis-mark that pops up in Labs on occasion.

    Now, on to that adorable, nameless pup. My goodness, he IS adorable! Names? I've always loved the name Timber. "M" name suggestion- Maxamillion, Max for short.

    He's a cutie. I thought boxer too...that's the only dog I've ever seen a brindle coat on. Either way, he's absolutely adorable!

    No name suggestions from me, I have spent 9 years being asked how could you name your dog Fanny? Eddie came his name and suits it perfectly! LOL! I ahve always wanted to name a dog Fido...........................

    I think Aussies are merle, not brindle. Different pattern and the like.

    But who cares, lol!! He is ADORABLE and brindle doggie are my very favourite. Congrats!!

    ETA: Welcome to the "adopted a brindle mutt from petfinder" club!! *passes the champagne*!! Best decision I ever made, may it work out just as well for you.
