DefaultThey work together like a pack

to get me up too early in the morning. At 4 AM there are three cup-eared Lab heads hanging over me as I try to sleep. Cup-eared because they know I will wake up grumpy but they know there is power in numbers.
    Anyway, Happy New Year!

Mine get up at 5:30 when the alarm goes off, during the week. But on the weekends, no alarm, so I guess they have their own alarms & they usually are standing over us by 6:00. Hard to sleep when two labs are staring you in the face.

    Happy New Year, Barbara.

Somehow, ours overslept this morning - it was all of 6:15 when they woke us...but it is hard to be grumpy with those darling labby smiles!

BTW- Morgan (the little shit!) lays down, snuggles in with me, then slowly worms his head under my pillow....runs his head down my back, and pushes until I am in a sitting position - making it hard to go back to sleep as I'm laughing by then!

Lexi isn't too bad, she'll get up for to potty around 6 & sometimes I can get her to go back to sleep for another hour or so.

More often than not, she is awake & decides Momma needs to be awake too. She gets me with the bump against the side of the bed & *harumpf* or deep *sigh*. If I ignore that, she'll start nosing under the edge of the comfortable, hoping to get her cold nose in contact with my warm skin. Definitely a wake up.

    My pretty girl, Lexi!

My dogs like to sleep but Tank is usually the first one up. Today they didn't wake me up till 8 since we didn't get to bed till 3 a.m.! so five hrs of sleep. I also had a puppy here so he had to potty.

maddox is a total lazy frat boy. he very rarely wakes us up...on the nights when he chooses to sleep on the couch he will join us in the bedroom around 7am if we aren't up and about, but he just conks back out and has waited as late as 11:30 for our lazy butts to get up.
