Puff was the runt of her litter (8 pups).

At 9 weeks age, she weighed 6 lbs./2.7 kg while her littermates weighed 12 lbs/5.5 kg. Her HT/FT AKC parents weighed in the 70s♀/80s♂.

    Puff's adult weight is 62 lbs./28 kg.

Puff [YF, AKC field line (from competing HT/FT breeder) 62 lbs, dob: 8-'01]

Bess [BF, AKC bench line (from competing show breeder) 55 lbs., 1967-1981] "Poor Bess, the Wonder Dog":

I ask more because I'm still trying to figure out how big Roscoe is going to be...and/or what breed she's mixed with. Just for curiosity's sake, really. She's a great puppy and I love her to pieces no matter what she is.

We assume she's 9 weeks... She weighed in at 6.1lbs today. Her brother is larger and has huge feet... I dunno.

Thank you for answering. I need all the info I can get. lol

I don't know 9 weeks, but when Ruby was 8 weeks she was 19lbs. Her daughter Virginia was 23 at 8 weeks. Egads.

    That is awesome!

I guess it should also be known that Roscoe (and her littermates) were dumped and very malnourished when we went to adopt. She's still underweight, I think... I'll be asking the vet about it this afternoon, but I trust the experience of the members here. *coughsuckupcough*

Sammi had her first vet visit at 9 wks. and was 10lbs. as mentioned above. Vet told me she would be big girl, " around 85-90lbs" was his prediction. Seemed weird to me because both her parents were smaller- but whatever he knows, doesn't he! Well she is 3 1/2 and weighs always between 60-65lbs. The moral is unless you know the pups linage, it's pretty much impossible to go by what they weigh as a pup, feet size, etc. IMO Enjoy your puppy- they are so much fun!

Good point!! And we definitely don't know her lineage. She's a sweet kid, I'm looking forward to watching her grow up.

At 9 weeks? Don't remember. Java was 17 lbs at 8 weeks, 34 lbs at 12 weeks.
Moka was 11 lbs at 8 weeks, 22 lbs at 11 weeks.
Java is now 10 months old and 70+ lbs (not sure of her exact weight.)
Moka is definitely going to be smaller than Java...
