Only one other dog at the DP today besides my circus. Buddy's friend Whiskey an 8 month old female pit who plays like Buddy. Except today she was trouncing him. At first they raced around the park playing tag then they boxed and wrestled. Whiskey was all over him. He tried to get away from her first by jumping up on the picnic table but that did not work she jumped up with him several times. Once I thought she had a stick in her mouth trying to get Buddy to play tug of war. It was Buddy's leg. Eventually he sought shelter in the little dog park on the other side of fence. That worked. But then Whiskey would try to get Jack to play. He would bark at her to leave him alone and Buddy would come to save him only to get rolled, which would send him back into the other dog park until she started worrying Jack again. Finally she got worn out and Buddy hopped back over the fence and stayed by the gate either playing it safe, staying close to the fence so he could escape or was pleading to go home. We all left together and they were boxing on the way to the parking lot. He is now sacked out under my feet.
Oh. And Tootsie was not much of a help. Whenever Whiskey had Buddy's head, neck, or collar, Tootsie would hump him. So much for pack loyalty.
Awww poor Buddy
