    DefaultZoom And Groom

I just ordered a zoom and groom for Skye. I should have probably asked before but figured I'd ask now anyway, has anyone ever used one of these? Does it work well? It had good reviews on amazon but figured I'd ask other lab owners. Thanks!

I have one for Bean and one for my cat. They work well, but you have to start in a circular motion until some hair builds up in the "fingers". Otherwise, all the hair will just fly off the dog.
Bean enjoys it, and my cat totally loves it.

Thank you for that bit of advice, I wouldn't have known that! I had read that hair flying everywhere was one complaint a few people had. I'm hoping it cuts down on the shedding A BIT. My pet hair eraser vacuum cleaner can't keep up lol. Apparently Skye sheds MUCH more than the two chihuahua's combined

It really gets the hair off but for me, the hair doesn't cling to the brush (like with a regular brush), it just comes out and flies on the ground. I just do it outside and let it fall on the ground. It works really well for lab hair and for my short haired cat but it doesn't work as well on my long haired cats so I would guess for other breeds depending on the hair type, it wouldn't work as well.

It is definitely a good thing to have for a Lab.

I used it mine last weekend. Use it outside or have the vacuum handy. You'll need it.
