    DefaultJust Wanted to say Thanks...

to Skye for leaving a nice trail of dog slobber from the water dish the whole way across the kitchen. I took trash out, came in and slipped and landed on my butt. She came running in to look at me "Duh mom, there's slobber there...jeez could you be more careful!" haha. Got to LOVE having a big dog around the house, I'll take the slobber trails any day

Also...I think we are REALLY making progress...as today, not only was she comfortable enough to leave slobber trails through the kitchen, AND try to steal chicken that's thawing out on the counter, but she also took a nap on her bed in true lab fashion...with all four paws in the air I love seeing her sleep that way. I used to love when Percy would do that, can never have too many pictures of that cute stuff Unfortunately, only my camera phone was close enough for me to get a picture and I'm not sure how to post pics from that on here. Was adorable though

She has come so far in such a short time. She knows she's in her forever home now.
(Hope you didn't get hurt on the slobber slip.)

AW!!! The slobber trail! Just cleaned one off my chair arm! Sophie is a water bowl digger! Skye may do this too....she will dig the water all over the kitchen and it is slick! I posted a picture today of Sophie's naughty adventure... I love the labby-flat-of-the-back sleep position! Sophie sleeps between us just like that.

Thankfully I didn't get hurt, just had a few laughs and three dogs who thought I was absolutely crazy I have caught Skye pawing at her water, my male chihuahua does this as well, though fortunately when SKYE'S water dish is full he cannot drag that across the floor as it is too heavy for him...he can drag his all around wherever he wants but no worries because his dish doesn't hold much since it's so small, much less mess

Aw! Glad to hear she is making progress! Is she playing with toys yet? if not I would give it a few weeks and I bet she will be!

Yep she is...rascal ripped two legs of her favorite toy. She sleeps with the darn thing lol. I tried to take it earlier to sew the legs back on while she was sleeping, as soon as I grabbed it she woke up and stole it back haha. She prefers the soft toys though, can't get her to play with the nylabones etc. Maybe soon.

ahh!! The 'pool of drool' as we call it in our house Hope you didnt hurt anything (other than your pride )

I also love it when they sleep with all legs in the air. That tells me, my boy is relaxed, my boy is happy and my boy trusts me.
