DefaultCat vs Lab---and the Winner is?

    Cat v Dog 2 - YouTube

    Y'all be the judge.

The cat is 14 and declawed. She was great friends with each of our last two dogs and really mourned Penny last year. She was totally not impressed with the puppy but seems to be warming to her. She's stopped hiding from Artemis in the last few weeks.

Artemis seems too think she's playing bitey face. Not sure the cat agrees..

Our cat is aptly named "Trouble" and does all she can to live up to the name. It's funny because we talk about Artemis 'looking for trouble' and it has multiple meanings.
Trouble used to wrestle with Belle (when she was a kitten and Belle was about 8). Sometimes we'd look up to see the cat's head in the dog's mouth, then hear a yelp and the cat would shake free...she'd gotten the dog's tongue. They played bitey face and chase all through the house (with my then 2-year old son in hot pursuit). So it's entirely possible that the cat really is trying to play bitey face with the dog!

What a funny vid. It doesn't look like the cat is real upset with the pup, more like they are working out the chain of command.
I hope they become fast friends.
