    DefaultSo much for thinkin'

Sophie was in my bedroom. She was sleeping on my bed. I "thought" she continued to sleep....NOT! She got into my closet and ate my purse! It was a leather and fur purse my sister got me for Christmas last year. It was one I wasn't using right now. Anyway.....she wasn't in there that long, but when I went to check on her, she was sleeping, but obviously hadn't STAYED asleep. That purse was in shreds! No kidding! It didn't even begin to resemble a purse! Chunks of fur all over the floor! I don't know how she was so quiet about it! She didn't make a sound and I was only 5 feet from the bedroom door! I wonder what she was thinking since it was fur? When we walked to the trash with it, she was trying her best to snatch it out of our hands! Naughty....

She does lot of that huh? I recall you posting about her chewing up a rug recently. Maybe crate training her might be a good idea for her own safety.

Like I said before the neighbour's dog ate the new leather couch at just over a year and ended up at the SPCA. A crate for her own good. Jack slept in a crate till he was 2 and we then decided he was good to go. Sophie is still pretty young. Has she seen any ghosts lately?

No ghosts lately! LOL! That sure was weird! Sharon, when she chewed the corner off the rug in the family room, my husband was right next to her, but the world could come to an end when he's got his nose in his computer! I would have to crate her 24/7 to keep her out of trouble! We usually keep a good watch on her, but I slipped up thinking she was asleep when she ate my purse! She was so quiet, the little sneak! She was left alone for the first time for an hour and a half yesterday. We put her on the back porch. She didn't destroy anything, but acted like a crazy dog when we came in! I still wonder how our Christmas tree can survive Hurricane Sophie!
