honestly....you're going to get what you pay for. Having a breeding pair is basically a back yard breeder. There is no mention of OFA hips, elbows, or heart clearances. Let alone CNM or EIC. So...yeah. That's all I have to say about that.

let me guess, no clearances on either parents, and neither have any titles?

"mother is also a yellow lab"??

TOTAL byb. sure the parents might be nice family dogs and cared for, but total byb
    Charlie (foster) and Rocky

I picked up my pup on Monday from the breeder and here's what I was given:

    AKC registration application

Contract (spelling out care, must be neutered, agree to use quality, dog food, not to allow to run loose, not to tie up, not to leave in car unattended, vet visit within 3 days, agree to bring back to breeder if unable to care for and more)

    Lineage

    Eye certs
    Heart Certs
    OFA certs

Vet and shots records for Pup.

The father of my pup is in New York

Thanks everyone...you just confirmed what I was thinking before I said anything to her. Knowing them, they won't care, they feel in love with the "puppy".
