In height only! As good as he's become (to my amazement) at 22 months as a duck dawg, he's still well behind Remi in overall Retriever skills. Maybe with more experience he'll get there but she really sets an awfully high goal for him to try to acheive.
If only I could give her a portion of his calm disposition, and he could take about 25% of her super-charged intensity, WOW ... we'd really have a pair then!
BTW ... a couple folks here have asked me what I mean when I talk about "blind retrieves". Here's Remi this morning demonstrating one definition of those terms (not recommended, however) ...

Great pic of Remi and Rusty - and love the blind retrieve
Another great story and pics!!
Should have been called Lofty although seeing him from a pup that was not likely !
Great pics. Love seeing your dogs Jim. They look like they really love being your duck dawgs.
Love the pics! Is Rusty full grown or is he still growing?
~It doesn't matter how smart the dog is,it matters how smart the owner is.
That's a lovely picture of both of them.
What great pictures of them Jim. Rusty is a fine looking dawg. I love his coloring. Remi is just the sweetest girl and one fine duck dawg. She will teach Rusty some of her moves but you know, a girl has to keep some tricks to herself. Hugs to Cappy too and tell Carol hello for me. She looks great in her camo duck hunting outfit. I meant to tell you that the last time.
