Yesterday I was chatting with the neighbor when I noticed Judy and Bruno were not in the yard. Behind the yard, there's a hill that leads to the lake, but they know they're not allowed down there without me. I went down the hill, called them... they were nowhere in sight. If they were in calling distance, Bruno would come. I got in the car to drive around the neighborhood looking for them and thought to go to the bank where they get treats at the drive through window. (about a mile from home) There was a man raking leaves in the house behind the bank so I stopped and asked if he saw two yellow Labs. He said they were in his yard only three minutes ago, both wet, and went in the direction of our street. I went back down our street where they had made their way to three houses from home. They probably thought they could get back to the yard before I missed them.
You have to laugh at their nerve ! They know that you are a push over bless them !

But Mom! It was a lovely day for a swim.
Omg that's hilarious (now that they are home safe & ok!) kind of sweet though how they stuck together & didn't go off on their own individual adventures!!
Those doggies! I love labs! They think they can get away with everything!
lol, glad they are home safe and sound.
