    DefaultHe was there.

Last night I was fighting with my boyfriend. One of those fights that get heated, simmer down, boil again, simmer, etc.

I was standing in the kitchen, and everytime a "boil" moment came, I would hear *thumpthumpthump* of Baloo's tail on the floor and he would get up and walk over to me, cupped ears and gentle body wiggle, lean against me for a moment, get petted, and then a "simmer" moment would come and he would go lay down again.

This probably happened 5-6 times. He was there for every one, with the feel-better-mum calm reassurance that I so needed at exactly that moment.

I am simply awestruck sometimes at the level of compassion and humanity that comes from these dogs.

    Just awesome.

Rush and Boo both are sensitive to loud voices. They both want to soothe hurt feelings.
    Aren't they precious, our babies?

Mine get upset and hide. My Dutch Shepherd used to stand between me and my husband and stare him down. Never mess with a Dutchie!

Good boy, balloo! on days it is horrible at school it seems like they know. They are calmer when i walk through the house and stay right up my butt then when i sit down they fight over he gets to try sit on my lap.
