    DefaultHas anyone used a ramp?

Kayla seems to feel better but doesn't want to go up or down more than one step. The pressure on her front feet just hurts too much. Unfortunately we have about 4 steps down to the yard. So I'm thinking about a ramp. Petsmart has several listed for both stairs and into cars. Has anybody used any of them, I'm particularly looking at one that says it telescopes--more adjustable I think. Any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated!
So, do you come here often?

I have the Petstep ramp. It works really well & is easy to use.

I also have the Petstep ramp. I bought it for my last lab and haven't had to use it yet for either Nellie or Bailey. It does work great if the dog is willing to use it. I had to hold a treat over the ramp to get Tucson to use it.

Did y'all use them over steps or just to help your dogs get into a vehicle? I can see having a hard time getting Kayla on the ramp for the first few times.

I used ours for getting our older lab in our SUV. I put it in the yard & gave her treats to get her used to it. She never had any issues using it.

We have one and Laddie uses it very successfully for the SUV. We used it first in my parents minivan to get him used to it then moved up to the SUV. Scardy cat Sadie will not use it.

We got the Solvit ramp for Wyatt when he had his surgery last year. It was great. I used it for the car, for the short set of stairs in our place in NH and to get in the house. It wasn't overly heavy. I ordered it online because it was more expensive locally.
