Mr. Eddie Picky Pants has decided that he wants to have plain kibble in the mornings, with no veggies, no gravy, no nothing - including vitamins and wants it AFTER Fanny has eaten. Then he chows down like he has been starved since the day he was born. In the evening, he eats his normal meal, veggies, gravy and now his vitamins!
Meanwhile, Ms Fanny Fanacapan, not a picky bone in her body, decided that seeing as he wasn't eating his kibble and gravy this morning she would eat it. Including the vitamin E capsule that she ignored in her own bowl. Worked for me.
The gravy is a powdered glucosomine/condroitin supplement that is mixed with water, which smells very good and works better than a pill.
Unless you have Mr. Picky Pants living in your house...........
Where do you get the gravy? I would be very interested in trying it as glucosomine pills don't work well here.

I have a Mr.Picky-Pants too. Emilu will eat anything, anytime, anywhere, but Baxter is a little more finicky - and if he doesn't eat right away, Emilu is glad to help him "clean his plate"
Picky pants. LOLOl
I sprinkle the glucosamine on their food. Erns has synoflex capsules, so I pull them apart and sprinkle it on. The eat it better than pills.
Not my current group, but in the past I have had dogs do the" wait 'til the other is done then start eating" thing. Not sure what it's about. Maybe it's a one-up thing..."Now you watch me eat when you have none. Ha Ha eat your heart out". Or maybe it's a "wait til alpha eats" thing.
I thought Labs were so food oriented that they didn't play these games.
The gravy is a powder by Nupro that you mix with water.
Last night he decided he really didn't want the mix and veggies so Fanny helped him out. He was hesitating so I put about 1/4 cup in her bowl and he ate the rest. This morning he got plain kibble and wasn't happy about it hence the name Mr. Picky Pants. I am not going out of my way to get him to eat, he will go without before I fuss that much!
Now when it comes to treats it is a whole nother story!
