QuestionIs he still growing or am I just overfeeding?

When I first got him the vet said he was an ideal size. He was 18 months-ish then, he's 2 years-ish now. He could have been younger. The pound had said 18 months but the vet estimated "over a year" and that was all. He was getting a lot of exercise... more than with, presumably, his original owners, the pound, and definitely the lady I got him from, but I was feeding him the same... so a few weeks after the vet visit I was convinced he was looking too skinny (I could see his ribs sometimes) so started feeding him slightly more. And he has gotten bigger the last few months. People at the park who hadn't seen him for a while commented on how he's "filled out!" and "gotten bigger". Also my friend mentioned he looked "taller" and another friend said he looked "less puppy-dog ish." He still has a waist, he just looks... stockier? So... at 2 years-ish, could he still be growing, or have grown since I got him at 18 month-ish?

Can you geel his ribs without presing to hard but not see them all the time? Sometimes i can see Tanks ribs if he turns a certain way but it has always been like that. A picture might work to.

Sure, I can still feel his ribs.

Oh what a good looking dog. I'm no expert, but I don't think he looks too heavy.

    I guess he's fine.
But if the vet thought he was ideal before and now he's heavier looking, does that mean he's just growing? How old do labs stop? Could he be getting taller?

He looks good to me. Probably is starting to fill out. Mine has just started to put on some size in the past couple of months, but he's "field bred", and won't be as stocky.

    What is his weight.

Erns is about 24inches high and weights 28-29 kilos. He can look quite stocky at 30, but at 27 looks skinny.

Tessa is the same height and is 28 kilos and looks thin. If you look at them from head to tail you should able to see a waist.Side on there is a dip and you can feel the first couple of rub.

When Erns was on Eukanuba it didn't take long for him to put on weight. I thought they stopped growing about 18 months, but maybe the experts will chime in and give you the correct age.
