On Sunday afternoon. She was so bored that I thought I would take her to the park and lay on a blanket with her enjoying the sun and the views. She had other ideas. She went straight for the trees, then sniffed her way to the end and went down the hill, continued along a trail until it ended, turned around and went back the way we came but took a right before we got to the hill. She then led me along the main trail and I found her a spot where she could get in the water, but she wasn't happy because she couldn't swim. So off we went again until she got tired so I put the blanket down and she lay on the path I sat on the blanket and we enjoyed the view until she was ready to go again.
After a couple more short stops along the way we got back to the car, when she got home, she flopped down on her bed and grinned like a fool, then crashed for the afternoon!
She hasn't been able to walk too far, I guess it was the pavement she didn't like, not the walk. Last night she was looking for another walk! I started something now didn't I?
I loved seeing her being her old self even with 3 legs! I may just try to get her to the bark park pond next week. It isn't as far as we walked Sunday so maybe we have a shot....
Sounds like she had a great time

That is awesome, sounds like the two of you had a wonderful time!
I'm sorry your poor girl lost her leg. It did sound like she had a great time.
He who does not own a lab does not know the definition of the word exercise.
That's awesome! Way to go Fanny!
Actually she hasn't lost her leg, she cannot use it due to osteosarcoma. It does not slow her down at all.
Every day we have with her is a blessing.
Awwwww! Good girl, Fanny. GOOD girl!

Fanny seems to know she can get anything she wants from you lately. Go ahead... keep on spoiling her. She deserves it.
Too cute!! Couldn't you just hear her, "Look at this. Oh what is that smell? Let's look over here!!"
