We have been hoping she didn't have environmental allergies, but think she may. We go 2 steps forward with her and 1 back.
For the past week she has been having what I call snorting spells. Sounds like she is snoring, but wide awake. Happens more when she has been moving around, then settles, snorts, then once relaxed breathes ok.
She started chewing her paws with such vigour I can hear her claws clicking on her teeth. Poor wee girl. As if she hasn't had enough.
Last night I was up most of the night when she kept waking me as if she had asthma and her breath smells really bad.She wasn't distressed. She is eating, but not as bouncy as usual. After Kassa anything in the mouth or head gets my stomach in a knot.
Last week I made a vet appointment for her regular vet visit for today.
aww, poor girl. It is just heading into your spring/summer isnt it? Could it be a hayfever type allergy that is causing the snorting/sniffles?
Awww poor Tessa. Hope vet can figure it all out. Good healing thoughts for sweet Tessa.
