    Doesn't have much to do with Labs except that all three of mine LOVE corn on the cob if I will hold it for them to nibble on.

    As old as I am I've never seen or heard of anything like this, so enjoy ...

    That corn shucking is pretty cool! Is the corn cooked to eat at that point?

    Yes. That is how we do corn on the cobb. It is nice and less messy without all the silk sticking to it. My brother puts it on the bbq in the husk.

    Don't let the dogs eat the cobs. Erns got into some at work a couple of years ago and had to be surgically removed.$1500.00. A very sick boy. The vet said summer is a vets busy time with all the cobs dogs eat. It is fibrous and doesn't break down. Some dogs are lucky and don't get a blockage.
