    DefaultMaddox is sooooooooo grounded

We make an effort to only bathe Maddox when it's really necessary. Typically we can manage with a good hose-off. Well Mr. Grounded-pants earned himself a full on spa quality bath yesterday after some of his antics, but today was the icing on the cake. In the middle of a good game of chuck-it, he discovered this wonderous little swimming hole, created by a truck driving on the too-soft ground. Guess who just needed ANOTHER bath? Just call him jailbird from now on.

PS, he has no idea he's grounded because i laughed the whole time..

i'm so mad that we couldn't find a plastic wading pool for him this year. today's incident was hysterical....and he's so cute that i can't stand it. he made me chase him around the yard with the hose to rinse out the shampoo...it's all a game to him! now i'm getting the stink-eye because he isn't allowed on the couch until he dries.

Sophie loves a good mud hole! Plus, she has a kiddie pool, and she'll get soaked, then go under the trampoline in the dirt and make her own mud! She loves to get in a mud hole and dig to China! It must be a lab thing!

it's a cute thing, whatever it is! my husband is thrilled that this happened while he was out, because i laughed for days at him when it happened the first time. pretty soon it's going to be too cold for him to be rolling around in the mud, so he may as well enjoy it now! at least we got out some zoomies in between rainstorms!

They always seem to find the mudhole...no matter how small. He looks like he was having himself a good time.

LOL! Bauer used to get grounded A LOT! Don't you know that dirt and mud doesn't show up on chocolate coats? That's the best part. If it doesn't show, it must not be there . . . That's what my DH tells me every time he let's Bauer wallow in a mud hole.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

Belle was known to break the ice on the creek next to my parent's house to swim in the middle of a snow storm!
