    DefaultOMG....she CAN bark.

I was sitting at the bar, writing some bills out & I hear this deep bark & again more barking. That is unusual. Kate never barks. It is always Abby who barks her deep bark when someone is on the road. They both will be at the window, but Abby is the only one that barks. Kate just stands there.

Well, I guess she realizes it's only her now at home & how dare someone walk on the road. She was at the window barking her fool head off. Of course she got a "good girl", before I told her it was all right, just a neighbor walking. I wish I could have gotten a video of her. She looked so proud of herself.

I wonder if she will still bark when Abby gets home.

Make sure you make her some tea to soothe her throat. Barking could be hard on her if she isn't used to it.

    Good girl Kate!

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

Oh she did get a treat for being a good girl. But I hope she doesn't decide to start barking in the middle of the night...that would scare the crap out of me.

It's funny how they become more aware and watchful when they think they need to guard because Daddy isn't home. The boys usually don't bark at people going by (unless they are outside) when Bill is home, but if he is away overnight they will alert to every sound and bark much more often.

What a good girl!! Diesel never barked til we moved. When he stands up on the bed, facing the doorway, in the middle of the night barking it totally freaks me out!! Hopefully Kate won't do that to you!!

I probably will, Barbara. Abby has a really deep bark. She sounds vicious. Kate still has that young dog bark.

He sees a ghost!! Dogs are very sensitive to paranormal activity. Your new house is definitely haunted!
