UnhappyIndy had a seizure last night

We were in bed watching TV before sleep and he had a seizure. It lasted less than a minute, more of a tonic/clonic type with stretching taut, moving of limbs and eyes rolling back. I went into panic mode, thank God for my husband. He kept telling me to be calm so Indy wouldnt freak out. So, we just kept rubbing his ears, his belly and legs, and keeping him on the bed. Being totally deaf, we were talking softly more for our benefit than his. This morning he's back to his normal bossy self, I on the other hand feel shattered and torn.

This is the first time this has happened and I hope the last. He's 13 with more lumps and bumps that you can count, and has severe arthritis. He had a senior panel when he had the tumor removed off of his head and everything was fine. I guess we'll just play it by ear.

Mom to Indy 6/12/98 to 11/16/11 (always in my heart), and Jobe 8-14-2000 to 6/24/2013 (Working TDI) English Labs, and Annie our Golden Retriever (TDI), and Kodiak (who will one day hopefully be a TDI dog if he doesn't kill me first).

I used to think he was in good hands, until I fell apart; thank God for Mike and keeping me calm. Funny how I can react one way with human ailments, but totally vaporize with one of the dogs. Oy, but they are my kids.

The old man is back to his bossy self ordering me around and begging constantly for food as I starvvvvvvvvve him. So, obviously he's getting whatever he wants today, and thank goodness I work from home. I pray this is an isolated incident.

    Poor Indy! And POOR YOU!

Hope it was just a freak incident.
