So tomorrow we go home - back to suburbia. The poor puppy thinks life is a beach! He's in for a big surprise - leashes and obedience class and closed doors. Poor guy! What a terrific summer it's been since he's been well. We even entered him in a dog show here on Martha's Vineyard. My 7 year old daughter walked him round. He got "honorable mention" as they wouldn't let him be an official entrant since he doesn't have his rabies shots yet. So much fun! He's been boogie boarding, body surfing (my husband's body), rock climbing and a real social magnet. I weighed him yesterday and was stunned to find that he is 50 pounds! How can that be!!! Only 4 months old. Here's a ridiculous picture of him my kids begged me to take:
I Love that picture!!! Glad he is back to normal and u had a good summer.
~It doesn't matter how smart the dog is,it matters how smart the owner is.
What a sweet face. I love his white chest.

So glad you've had a good summer and things are working out well with him now that he's well. He looks like a lot of fun and so darn cute..... and I'm sure will be a very handsome boy when he grows up. Wow, 50 pounds at 4 months. Dee was only 32 lbs at 4 months.....and she's 70 now.
Glad you all had a great time. Wonderful memories for all.
Ray looks great (even in his stroller) LOL Seems like he's coming around and now knows he's part of your family.

At age 4 months, back to reality will be a beach for Ray too.
That picture brings back memories of when I put our family dog (Collie) in my doll stroller, bicycle basket, wagon...anything on wheels, and he enjoyed the ride.
