DefaultI think Bentley is a mix

His ears sit weird on his head and when he gets in trouble or knows he did something bad the way he puts his ears back makes em think he is a mix. I am thinking Collie. His gait is off and looks like a collie gate mixed with a lab gait to and if I can find a full body pic his body shape isnt a "lab" shape. It looks like he could have smooth collie in him I will look for a body pic tonight and post it.

    What do you guys think?

In any pictures I've seen that you've posted, he looks like a Lab

Generally a collie/Lab cross looks a lot different. Obviously any crossbreed has variations, but any Lab/Collie cross I've seen looks more like this
(we used to have one who looked almost identical to that dog actually!). Just because his ears sit higher/not to the Lab standard doesn't mean he isn't one, it could be down to sloppy breeding

I have only seen one cross and it loked like that pic to. I know it could be sloppy breeding since there are a lot of bybs around here(as I am sure lots o other places).

    Thanks for the pic.

Labs can be very expressive with ears; everything from what I call "evil ears" way on top of the head with tips pointing forward, to cup ears (some call pharo ears) set way back sticking out like an elephant indicating extreme happiness or "Im so sorry".

When Cinders ears are like what you call elephant ears I call them ponytail ears. it looks like she has two ponytails sticking off her head. It cracks me up!
