Wow! Here we are at almost 5 months of a 3-6 months diagnosis and only that she can't use the leg you wouldn't know she was supposedly dying!
She hurt her leg a couple of weeks ago and now she rests it on the floor while standing otherwise she doesn't use it at all. She had been using it to scoot herself along to aid her right leg. She can haul ass when she wants, that's for sure.
Every meal time she barks at me because I don't have her food down in quick enough and then if she feels like it and Eddie hasn't finished his, she eats the leftovers AND his yoghurt if he isn't quick enough! Meanwhile he had become Mr. picky pants at meal time.....
I have her on TOW canned with a little of TOW kibble, canned green beans & carrots, a vitamin powder that becomes gravy when water is added and her pain meds. Then after that I give her organic flax oil with organic no fat plain yoghurt. It is used by humans in holistic cancer care and has been used by dog owners too.
There are testimonials to the fact that the flax oil/yoghurt mix has cured dogs with cancer. I don't know if I believe the testimonials but something is prolonging her life far beyond what the vet said AND she s healthy! Her last weigh in 2 weeks ago was 75.4 pounds, down a pound in 6 months, not too shabby.
Keep it up baby girl!
A lot of love keeps her going. Keep it up.
Congrats ! Keep on doin what you're doin !
Awesome to hear she is doing good outside of her poor leg.
Glad she is well!!!!
~It doesn't matter how smart the dog is,it matters how smart the owner is.
Whatever you are doing..I would keep it up. She is a beautiful girl. Please give her a big hug from her friends in PA.
What a lovely update....
Your update makes me smile! Sounds like a great mixture between food, meds and a whole lot of love!
Good to hear! She's a beautiful girl.
