I LOVE THIS DOG!
More than I thought I would in such a short time. She's rowing like a weed and I can't believe my baby is 5½ months already. She has graduated from puppy class and now we train on our own until next class in a few months or so. I think it will be rally obedience. She is such a smart little girl with a big will to please (as long as you have treats in your pocket ).
She' such a loving, fun, crazy and wise beyond her years. She loves taking small walks around the neighborhood and er biggest interests are cats and butterflies! She doesn't understand why the cats don't want to play with her tho, the butterflies she doesn't care if they wont she plays with them either way...
She loves being outside, just laying around on the lawn below Emma's cherry tree or walking around exploring things. I have a hard time getting her inside. Can't wait until we move and she can lay on our own little patch of grass. She loves going to the gardens and run, run, run and then take a rest on her bench. Seeing the gardens become her favorite place, just like it was my sweet Emma's favorite place.
Just thought I would share
Oh Veronica I am so happy you have her she is just darling.

"A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?"- John Grogan
I can see Emma smiling down on you and Nikki.
Oh Veronica I am so happy to hear this!! What? You are moving? to a house? with grass and a yard?? WOOOHOOOO!!!!!
What a beautiful girl!

She is beautiful, Veronica. I am so glad you are happy.
And it looks like the feeling is mutual!!!
So wonderful, really, what Nikki has done for you. Not that she could replace Emma -- no dog could -- but she's taken your heart in a different direction. Showed you the sun again. Brought blown-coat fur back into the house. Re-introduced you to that intoxicating scent of kibble. Re-acquainted your hand to holding a leash.
I SO get it. I SO understand.
