"A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?"- John Grogan

    Chickens!!

That's similar to the beach where I first introduced Jo to the water. He wouldn't go in either. I walked him to the end of the breakwater & helped him off the edge. He had no choice but to swim back. I couldn't keep him out of the water from that day on.

I'm reminded of Monty Python and the Holy Grail: "Run away! Run away!"

Sundance does that, too. He's never showed any interest in swimming.

Dylan likes to swim so I thought that he would like the sea. Apparently not although when I took off my shoes and paddled they did get closer to the waves. Perhaps I should have taken my swimming gear.

Too cute! Get those boys a boat; they don't want to get their toes wet.

Dee likes the water, but not enough to venture into those waves.
