    DefaultJava and the little person

We were down the Cape this weekend with the girls.
Took Java and Moka to the beach to walk low tide. They had a blast!!
As we were leaving, a group of people approached us. I had Moka (on leash) and Brian had Java (also on leash). Brian was ahead of us...I moved off the path when I saw the group coming. Brian was just going to wait for them to pass. Java was great-very friendly, hellos to everyone....until she saw the little person (no offense meant here, I'm not sure what the correct term is-little person, midget, dwarf, etc). She freaked out and started barking up a storm at the poor woman. No hackles or growling, she wasn't being aggressive or anything...it was just embarassing that she was fine with everyone else, except the little woman.
Moka could have cared less...she was excited to see someone her size.

well in Javas defense, its not like there are an abundance of little people to introduce your dogs to. It was something new to her. I can see the embarrassment though

Yes. That would be very embarrassing. I'm sure you profusely apologized...

    Embarrassing yes...
