    DefaultBentley and the water bottle

Took Bentley for a walk and he was obssesed with my water bottle! SO after I drank it all i let him have it. I would kick it and he would chase it. Then he dropped it again and I kicked it again and he went after it. He was so proud of his water bottle. He held his head high and pranced with the water bottle in his mouth. I wish I would have recorded it but I did get pics. i don;t know why he was so obssesed with it. He was wanting it so bad adn was so happy when I let him have it. He held it in his mouth for about 20 min and dropped it again once we got home adn passed out, lol.

I give Libby water bottles all the time! She loves them! It will keep her entertained for about 20 minutes before I have to take it away because she starts to mutilate it!

Avery does the same... he loves water bottles! Its the crinkley sound that gets him... he chases it and throws it around then he destroys them.
They make covers for them that look like animals. Got one that looked like a cow and within 5 minutes the cow was destroyed and so was the water bottle. haha

Milk jugs. Dio LOVES those. The water bottles are too small for him, so he gets the (cleaned/washed) milk jugs.

I didn't think of a milk jug. Maybe I will have to try that to keep him busy for awhile.

MILs Lab is exactly the same, he LOVES bottles. If he finds one when we are out walking, he will carry it all the way home.

Words of warning, remove the lid. If the dog chews the bottle, the lid can become a choking hazard.

Very true. Thank you for saying that! Also, remove the label, since they can eat it and I doubt it's good for them.

Thanks for the warnings. Bentley didn;t chew on it. He just held it in his mouth.I will remove everything next time though.

The boys love water bottles, too. So much so that it became a hazard for any one person to drink out of one because they'd both be waiting for the empty. Either they both get one, or it goes in the trash.
