Rosie is a gem. Always loving, hungry, affectionate and the park favorite.
However, just recently, she no longer wants to come to me or take food from my hand. She used to cone to the couch and give affection when asked. Now age just goes to a spot under the dining room table.
She is eating fine from her bowl and no issues with drinking water from bowl etc.
The only thing I can think of is that I used a lot of the affection type words when I was trimming her rear nails and clipped a bit of her quick.
She still wants to sleep on the bed at night with me.
Help, I think my dog is holding a grudge!
Others more knowledgeable will have better advise. They don't hold grudges. It is us putting human emotions to them. I clipped Tessas nail too close last week and she is now on the couch beside me wanting to get into my skin. She came from a not so good home yet still loves people.
