DefaultLooking For a Metal Vault for Ashes

I picked up Tankie's ashes today and am considering what to do them them. I was going to bury them in the yard along with Chia and Doofy and putting a bench there with stones with their names on them but am hesitating. I was wondering if there was a metal vault I could put them in that would be above ground. Anyone have any suggestions?

Sandie, if you really want a mausoleum setting for Tank's ashes call one of the places that build them. Just tell them it is for a pet... I don't know that they care what they are building the structure for. Or look up "pet cemetaries", find out who makes those things. Maybe even the crematorium who tended to Tank?

Did you ever read Evelyn Waugh's The Loved Ones? A little bizarre.

there is a place in TC that handles a bunch of stuff and I am not sure if their website even has all they carry. You can probably call them. Super nice people.

I dont have the web address, but I found this place by googling dogs urns, and found a place where they make real size pets urns that you can have outside or keep it inside. I have my Magenta for now in a wooden urn with her picture in the front. Thats how it came, but I'm planning in the future to buy a real size urn that looks like her to keep on my garden. They were expensive though, around $400 us dollars. But it will be so nice to go to my garden and stand have her there. She is in our chimney mantel.

Good luck, I hope that you find what you are looking for and glad that he is back home even though it must be so bittersweet.
