My poor puppy-to-be!
So I got a call this morning from the awesome puppy class that I was on the waiting list for. (I sent my registration about 5 weeks ago...when she was 2 weeks old and we were put on the waiting list!) We're in! I was starting to feel like those parents who are on daycare lists for years before their kids are born.
Then today I called my vet, who teaches at the local College everyday but Saturday, to make an appointment in two weeks when Nola comes home...and he's all booked up!
Are you kidding me? Are people MAYBE, just MAYBE getting a clue that having a puppy is a big deal and doing all the right things like joining puppy classes and taking them to the vet?
In related news...13 sleeps until Nola comes home!

That's how I felt when I got Roxy, I couldn't fin no puppy classes available right way I've been waiting for the whole month. She is staring on Aug 3rd. and the vet didnt want me taking her anywhere in case she would get sick because no all the shoots. So excited that she is done at least for a year with shoots
I had some adopters do all the above (with an older dog) but boy does that make you feel good as a foster saying goodbye to see their are all set and ready to go!
I would do the same as you (sign up for classes and book vet visits).
