My little Sully dog is super sick. He didn't eat from Tuesday to Thursday. Horrible diarrhea, very mopey, not his usual perky self. I took him to the vet yesterday. They ran every test in the book, gave him an IV for dehydration, sent him home with medicine and orders for bland diet. All the tests came back normal. He must have gotten into something. I'm sick over the whole thing. The only thing I can think of his a mushroom in the yard??? We have them pop up every now and then. I have been bathing his back end twice a day so that he can be out of his crate. He did eat some chicken and rice last night and then again this morning. I really hope he starts to perk up by this afternoon. He has me worried sick.
Someone recommended burger. This seems like it would be too greasy for me. I think I will stick to the chicken for now. UGH!
I want my happy go lucky puppy back!
Aw poor Sully! I hope he feels better very soon!

I hope Sully feels better soon, sounds like the bland diet is working though. If you rinse the burger off you can get rid of most the grease.
Get better Sully
Poor Sully... Hope he feels better soon!
Mushrooms can be very dangerous. I know someone who lost a GSD from ingesting mushrooms in the back yard. I hope Sully is feeling better soon.

~It doesn't matter how smart the dog is,it matters how smart the owner is.
I hope Sully is feeling better soon.
For the diarrhea add a spoonful or two of canned pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling but plain pumpkin. Add it to a mixture of cooked brown rice with a bit of canned chicken.
Hope things get better soon and keep us posted.
