Who else has a dog that's fussy about his swimming water? Bean really only wants to play in a river. No kiddie pools, lakes, or ponds. He hasn't really swum yet, but runs and splashes.

Emmett doesn't care... Great Lake, small lake, beach, dock, pool (once he figured out there was water in it). Tonight he was playing with hose, I don't think he cares as long as it's water.

Sammi could care less the body of water she loves to swim, river, lake, creek or pool! Her problem is she hates going out in the rain, this isn't good for a lab in Oregon- I have to push her out to go potty in the rain- UGH!!

Do mud puddles count? The only water Mandy doesn't enjoy is the hose, unless she is getting a scrub down bath. She loves sitting out in summer rain as well.

My Lexi hates going out in the rain, but will play in her baby pool, puddles and the local creek. Also, she won't go into my friends in-ground pool.

She's never seen the ocean or a large river, so I have no idea what she'd do.

    My pretty girl, Lexi!

I don't think I've ever had a dog be picky with where they get to swim, they even eye my water bottle up trying to figure out how to get in there!

So far, Titus in not picky at all. He has swam in the river, in the bay, in a pond, in my sons kiddy pool, in the tub (with my son and bubbles..lol), he has even tried to swim on the kitchen floor after he has dug all the water out of his dish... so no...not picky here..lol

My girls aren't picky. Lakes, ponds, the ocean, heck, even a mud puddle. As long as it's water, they love to be in it.

Don't know yet, by my vets recommendation we were supposed to wait until she got all her shoots before we take her for a swim. And she just finish today
