Chores first, then play ...
Cut down, bundle and stack up the dead sweet corn stalks for use as cover on the blinds this fall
Get the swings and tree fort stuff from storage in the barn and put it up
Haul 150 lbs of corn and put it into the auto feeder for the ducks and geese
Take Grammy for a ride around the property in the new golf car
Then finally, come inside to cool off (it was 104 here today) and play "where go cookie?" with the dawgs
Looks like a fun-filled first day for Jay. What a treat for all for him to be with you for the summer.
I can see why Jay loves to spend time with his granadparents. Looks like tons of fun at your place.
What a great first day! I hope he never outgrows summer visits w/you and your family.

I love seeing pictures of Jay and the dawgs every summer
Great pictures, Jim. What a wonderful bond you have forged.
Gosh, he's grown so much in a year!
Great pictures. That last one is really cute.
Jay is one lucky boy and I'm sure you feel just as lucky to have this time with him! I still remember the summertime's on my Grandparents farm, so many happy memories.
