Today Zack fractured my elbow which is now swollen and in a sling He knows it was him and is currently looking up at me morosely on the floor. Today sucks - it was all down to a vet trip for a sudden ear infection earlier. It was time for his first lot of drops and he leapt over the arm of the sofa (he HATES drops...I can't quite stress that enough!) and I stupidly put my arm up to catch him (WTF...) and the elbow joint crunched underneath him...I nearly cried with the pain
So...my fault entirely but to make me feel less stupid, what are your Lab-related injuries?

OUCH!! I sure hope you feel better soon and Zack.
My lab hates drops too but will submit and then hold a grudge for awhile.
The only injuries I have had is a busted lip, a knot on my forehead and bruised shins....nothing compared to your injury.
So sorry - that had to hurt! I'd be feeling down too!
Have you been to the DR.? Are you sure its broken, not dislocated?

When Wes would take a 'tude in the obed ring, he often bruised my pride. =)

Ouch!! You poor thing (and i kinda feel for Zach as well).
Harvey has 'punched' me a few times, i go in for a kiss and he thinks i want his paw.
Our previous dog broke DHs nose!
Worst injury was a badly sprained ACL. But I blame the stupid squirrel more than I do Louie!
Oww sorry for your elbow, that sounds like it really hurts. get well soon.
They certainly know when they hurt you... My old Brownie suffered from HD and old age (she was around 12 back then). To prevent her from hurting herself I used to carry her up an down the car. She was a big girl. One day I took her to the vet and when I carried her to get off the car my back hurt really bad.
She usually just waited for me to carry her up and down, but that day after the vet visit, I opened the car door and just before I turned around to carry her, she just took some speed and jumped in the car herself. She was amazing! she knew Papa got hurt carrying her, how sweet for helping.
I'm sorry about your elbow. I've not had anything as bad as you. When we were training Kate, I had a long rope on her, we were teaching "come in" & we were throwing bumpers. Well she took off at full speed when I said her name & the rope was wrapped around my hand. I had a bad rope burn. It really wasn't her fault..I should have worn gloves.
