DefaultThink we'll be keeping the lawn mowed short this summer....

So today, after Koivu's most of the day nap, I let him outside to potty.
He decided he'd much rather lie in the dirt for a while, so I quickly ran back in the house to grab something.
I glance through the window and see he's moved, get to the door and from stage left comes Koivu, butt tucking and turning in circles as he crosses the yard.
I see something flying around him and am immediately afraid he's being chased by a wasp (I don't deal well with flying insects).
He sees me, heads for me with a look of desperation and...
    "Oh sh!t," I say.
I say this because he literally has poop dangling down from his behind, which he appears unable to shake loose despite his fairly impressive efforts.
I duck back inside, hoping not to get hit by flying poop, grab a poop bag, and then have to pull 2 pieces of poop connected by about a 6 inch string of grass from his rectum.

Not quite the activity I'd planned for us this afternoon, but I'll still take handling dog poop over human poop any day

How old is he? Is this the first time? You will get used to it, it happens often.

He's 14 months old. I didn't realize this is to be a regular occurence. I'll start keeping poop bags or gloves closer to the back door

Oh ya, it happens all the time. Also, your pup will learn to "grunt" untili it comes out. Only very rarely do I have to pluck!

If you ever take him out to play in a large field of tall grass, you can probably count on needing to help him dispose of the waste.

All the reputable breeders, even the ones on this forum, are so particular about selectively breeding for the best attributes, and keeping the breed pure. None of them will admit that they were all cross bred with cattle a long time ago.
